Stamps Issued by the General Administration of Posts and Telecommunications of Northeast
The General Administration of Posts and Telecommunications of Northeast (東北郵電管理總局) issued stamps from 1946 to 1949, produced by regional and local printing offices under wartime and transitional conditions. The 37 issues (DB1–DB37) cover definitives, commemoratives, provisional surcharges, and booklet panes, all denominated in Northeast yuan. Two items of postal stationery (DBE1, DBE2) are listed at the end of this section.

Issued December 1948. Red frank lettersheet with printed Mao Zedong portrait, issued postage-free for correspondence to military units. Among the earliest postal stationery items bearing the Mao Zedong image.
